[Shunsui] Living Differently [Kyoraku] {2}

Various fluorescent lights flickered around the large room in which (Name) found herself unhappily sitting in the next evening, her lack interest obvious on her face. She wasn't happy to be there. Not in the least.

"Why the hell did I even agree to let him drag me here in the first place?" The (h/c) haired woman sighed as she mindlessly swirled her alcoholic drink around in her glass, eyes locked on the remaining liquid. She had already finished off three shots, and was contemplating on finishing her forth. "I hate this sort of thing."

"That sort of attitude is exactly the reason that I brought you here, (Name)!" She groaned, turning around in her seat to see Gin standing with one of his usual foxy grins. "Just sitting here isn't going to be any fun at all. You've got to get out there and socialize!"

"I'd rather not." (Name) was quite surprised that she could hear both Gin and herself so well above the obnoxious background music. "You know I'm not into this sort of thing."

"It won't kill you to make some friends, you know! Besides, you might actually meet someone if you get out there and look around~."

"I don't need any more friends." (Name) downed the remains of her drink without another thought. "Especially not when my so-called 'best friend' is being a pain in the ass."

"You're so mean to me, (Name)~." Gin pouted. "No wonder you can't keep a boyfriend."

His teasing little comment caused an annoyed look to form on (Name)'s face. She stood up quickly from her seat. One could easily tell that the woman was a bit intoxicated by the slight stagger in her stance, yet she wasn't drunk enough to be entirely clueless on her actions.

"You're a jerk, know that?"

"Now who's being mean~?" Gin pouted before smiling brightly. "Now, go have fun!" The silver haired man chuckled as he lightly pushed his friend into the crowd of people gathered on the dance floor.

"Dammit Gin!" He could barely hear her voice as she disappeared in the crowd.

"Have fun, (Name)~!"
