Learning to Love [Kenpachi Zaraki]

"No, Kenny, you're doing it all wrong!" Yachiru sighed heavily as she flopped down on said males desk. "You'll never get (Nickname) that way! You're just being a jerk."

"Shut up." Kenpachi scoffed as he glanced down at the young Shinigami. "What do you know about any of this?"

"Kenny, you've got to treat (Nickname) like a lady! You need to be nice to her instead of being mean like you usually are." A large from came to her lips. "You'll push her away if you do that!"

"What the hell do you want me to do, then?" Kenpachi growled in irritation. He wanted to at least attempt to get closer to (Name), due to feelings he didn't quite understand. His usual methods of fighting and antagonizing her hadn't worked thus far, and once Yachiru had figured out his interest in (Name), she had taken over.

"You've got to be gentle with her. Instead of fighting her, do nice things for her! Don't hurt her, Kenny. Be kind." Yachiru smiled. "Like you are to me."

Kenpachi stared at Yachiru for a moment, wondering whether or not she was actually serious. Kind? Gentle? It was odd enough for him to be that way with Yachiru, but did he really need to be that way with (Name), too?

"You're sure that'll work with her?" Kenpachi still held his doubts. "Seems like a pretty crappy idea to me."

"Of course I'm sure!" Yachiru stood up on the desk, puffing her chest out proud. "That's the only way you're going to make her interested." She smiled at her father figure. "Just don't be a stupid, grumpy jerk to her."

"Tch. I'm not like that, anyway."

"Yes you are. Now, go get her, Kenny!" Yachiru cheered, pointing excitedly towards the door.

Kenpachi sighed, looking over at the door. He contemplated actually going after her, but knew that Yachiru wouldn't leave him alone until he did it. Plus, Kenpachi himself want to at least give it a shot. He wasn't going to run away like a coward.

"Fine. I'm going."
